The context and content of the SRIA will be presented at the International Conference of Aerospace Sciences “AEROSPATIAL 2012”, organized by INCAS – National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (under the aegis of The Romanian Academy) in collaboration with ISMMA – Institute of Mathematical Statistics and Applied Mathematics of The Romanian Academy “Gheorghe Mihoc – Caius Iacob” in Bucharest, Romania.The SRIA is the new roadmap for aviation research, development and innovation, and outlines the main threads of technical, operational and strategic actions to achieve the ambitious goals set by Flightpath 2050 (Europe’s vision for Aviation beyond 2020). The Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research and Innovation in Europe (ACARE) has been developing the SRIA through the involvement and consultation of major aeronautics and air transport stakeholders.  The SRIA will be promoted throughout Europe with additional high level events, for which further information can be found on AERA-Pro website.
