On March 6th 2013 from 9.00 to 17.00, AERA-Pro and the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking will present the activities to be done in 2013 in Clean Sky and the context and content of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) at the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) in Madrid, Spain. They will also present their view with respect to the role of aeronautics in Horizon 2020, as well as the possible continuation of Clean Sky in the future framework programme.The CDTI is a Public Business Entity, answering to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, which fosters the technological development and innovation of Spanish companies. It is the entity that channels the funding and support applications for national and international Investigation, Innovation and Development projects of Spanish companies.The SRIA is the new roadmap for aviation research, development and innovation, and outlines the main threads of technical, operational and strategic actions to achieve the ambitious goals set by Flightpath 2050 (Europe’s vision for Aviation beyond 2020). The Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research and Innovation in Europe (ACARE) has been developing the SRIA through the involvement and consultation of major aeronautics and air transport stakeholders.
