EuroFoodChem XVII

EuroFoodChem XVII is planned to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, May 7-10th, 2013, a location that has been chosen to reflect the role of Istanbul as a meeting point for East and West as the crossroads of different continents and cultures.

EuroFoodChem XVII, the latest in the series of flagship conferences organised by the Food Chemistry Division of EuCheMS, the European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences, and is expected to provide:formal and informal discussion and debate of state-of-the-art knowledge and applications in food chemistry and complementary disciplines,networking opportunities for scientists active in food chemistry and other disciplines, to network with one another, with industries and with representatives of consumer groups within and beyond the borders of the European Union.a venue for young researchers and students at the start of their careers to make contact with, and to discuss their interests with, more experienced colleagues.a forum for discussion on integrating European and global food chemistry, food quality and food safety research, and exchanging knowledge and best practice to develop common (or worldwide) strategies for food quality and safety assessment.a bridge between East and West that addresses key issues relevant to industry, the research and science communities, national and international regulatory bodies, policymakers and consumer organisations.
