Is this the most dangerous union leader in Britain

NUJ General Secretary Michelle Stanistreet in Brussels March 19th

She has been called the most dangerous union leader in Britain. Is the label deserved? Or is Michelle Stanistreet simply an effective leader for the British and Irish National Union of Journalists (NUJ)?Come along and find out. On Tuesday 19thMarch, MIchelle will be addressing the Brussels branch of the NUJ (National Union of Journalists), talking about the union's highly effective involvement in last year's Leveson Inquiry into the UK press. The consequences of Leveson are still being worked out in the UK, but at a time when the European Parliament is calling on the Commission to propose legislation on press supervision across Europe, the subject is highly topical. The talk will include a video of Rubert Murdoch being questioned by the NUJ's QC at the Leveson Inquiry, itself something not to be missed. After which a Q&A session.Come along and see what the NUJ is doing for journalists today.
