This conference aims at helping women, especially those with a New European background, to become successful business professionals. It will address the barriers women face today, such as “the glass ceiling”, gender stereotypes and the burden of simultaneously pursuing a career and raising a family. Successful business professionals will share their experience with the attendees; and speakers from the European Commission and the European Parliament will present their positions and ideas on how to boost the low percentage of women entrepreneurs within the business world.UNITEE wants to raise awareness of the achievements of New European women entrepreneurs and their importance for European society. We are therefore organising this event to give aspiring female entrepreneurs the chance to learn more about the opportunities and support provided by the EU to business start-ups. The participants will also have a chance to share their experiences with fellow aspiring and established entrepreneurs during a networking cocktail.
