SEVT is the official body that since 1978 represents the Greek Food Industry. It represents 85% of the Food Industry in Greece and its members are Associations of the Industry Sectors, as well as many individual enterprises of the Industry. The seminar is organised by MAITRE- Media Actions for the International Training of Researchers, a European project supported by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme, aiming to give food and nutrition research a higher profile in Europe, by providing professional media training for reseachers.The seminar will be held by senior professional journalists and will give the researchers hands-on experience and practical sessions on how to improve their communication ability to convey news and outcomes of their research to the general public. The seminar will give the researchers also the possibility to get into a network of other researchers and science journalists.
