Statement of Purpose:The purpose of this CME activity is to review commonly encountered conditions found among children and adolescentsPreliminary Objectives for Activity:At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:• Review causes of abdominal pain and appropriate evaluation• Determine the best approach to gastrointestinal foreign bodies • Review the current literature on hepatitis and treatment for children • Determine appropriate evaluation for common GI problems in children • Review the causes and treatment of neonatal jaundice • Explore gastroesophageal reflux and its therapy • Evaluate current treatment modalities for inflammatory bowel disease and its implicationsThis Live activity, Pediatrics Review 2012, with a beginning date of 01/08/12, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 14.0 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
