This unit lectured by the former UN Chief of Protocol Mrs Alice Hecht presents how international organisations deal with cultural specificities in the practice of high-level protocol.  It uses the UN as a case study to demonstrate how this particular international organisation has approached multiculturalism and developed a common practice of protocol.
