The aim of this Advanced Course is to learn the necessary skills to be deployed in international peace and conflict work. It builds on participants‘ prior experience and knowledge from overseas projects in civil conflict transformation, development cooperation or related fields.Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the “Peace and Conflict Consultant” certificate.To qualify for the certificate, you must take part in the Basic Course and also in 18 days of seminars. The seminar subjects can be freely chosen from the range on offer and should be attended within twelve months of starting the course. The course also entails two coaching units, which should be completed within a period of up to twelve months of starting the course.The full-time Advanced Course in Peace and Conflict Work consists of the 5-weekBasic Course in Peace and Conflict Work, with 28 course days, plus additionalseminars. Participation in this course, conducted in English, is possible twice a year, starting with the Basic Course. The seminar days should be completed within twelve months. That means that any of the seminars offered during this period can be chosen.There are no rules regarding the selection of seminar topics; they can be freely chosen according to personal and professional interests. The only condition is that the total number of seminar days attended must be at least 18.The Academy for Conflict Transformation covers the costs of all course materials, board and lodging during the Basic Course and the seminars. The costs of travelling to and from the sessions must be paid for by the participants
