Writing winning proposals for international funding - evening course

Improve the odds by learning the five key features of a stand-out proposal that connects, persuades and succeeds with an evaluator.

This course focuses on creating a sense of ease, clarity, and connection in a document. We look at how to communicate your idea clearly in English and how to manage your proposal team.This workshop is applicable to proposals for any purpose, you will find it especially useful if you are interested in EU funding under Horizon 2020.This is an evening course held over four evenings.Real world skills applicable to many areasProposals can vary enormously in length and complexity. They can range from a short document, such as an email or letter, to a formal document, such as a response to a request for proposal (RFP) or request for quotation (RFQ). This workshop will help you to plan and write proposals that can persuade an evaluator. The training is applicable to proposals for both international and national donors.As part of this workshop, we will:assess the basic principles of writing an effective proposaldiscuss how to determine what your client (donor) needs and wantsshow you how to respond to your client’s priorities, not your ownteach you to write proposals using plain English.Writing in plain English is key to your success. If an evaluator can understand your main messages clearly, they are more likely to fund your product or service.
