2nd Caspian InternationalAqua Technologies Exhibition and Conference

In recent years, the water supply and sewerage systems for all cities and towns, as well as for hundreds of villages and other residential settlements are being either established or refurbished, water intake and water treatment plants based on new technologies are being built, and main pipelines and water distribution networks are being constructed. These projects are using investments from the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the KfW Bank of Germany, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Saudi Fund for Development, the Korea Cooperation Agency and other international finance institutions, together with funds allocated by the Azerbaijani Government.The unique Oghuz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline with a throughput capacity of five cubic metres per second has been commissioned and the construction of the Jeyranbatan water reservoir, one of the world’s largest UF water treatment facilities with an output of six cubic metres per second, has been started. The foundations for each project, from feasibility studies to construction, involving the world’s most prestigious and highly professional companies in the relevant fields, consists of new technologies, new and effective materials, and optimum management.
