This symposium, new for 2014, focuses on non-defense sensing and imaging topics and further development of the dual-use and affordable technology options with civilian applications. This will include 3D printing and manufacturing, quantum cascade lasers, commercial applications of thermo-sensing, spectroscopy sensing, detection in industrial applications, industrial robotics, machine vision, fiber optic sensors, food and water safety, process control, petrochemical explorations, earth and climate monitoring, photo-sensing, etc.
