Wherever violent conflicts break out, trained personnel can make a contribution to making non-violent cooperation possible again. Specially trained peace and conflict consultants promote the will to engage in dialogue, help processes of change to take shape and create spaces for conflict parties to meet with each other.Our courses impart practical skills and theoretical knowledge for civil conflict transformation at home and abroad.Participants acquire the technical, project-related and social skills that are needed for working on projects in civil conflict transformation, conflict-sensitive development cooperation and humanitarian aid.Upon successful completion of our courses, participants are awarded with the “Peace and Conflict Consultant” certificate as proof of their qualification. This attests to their skills for conducting project work in conflict contexts and for the active, targeted design of peace processes.The aim of this Advanced Course is to learn the necessary skills to be deployed in international peace and conflict work. It builds on participants‘ prior experience and knowledge from overseas projects in civil conflict transformation, development cooperation or related fields.
