Students in the digital age- current state of play- assessing students

DG EAC and the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement will launch the results of the International Computer and Information Literacy Study

DG Education & Culture and the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) will launch the results of the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) – the first ever global 360 degree study assessing students’ computer and information literacy (CIL) skills.  60,000 eighth graders in more than 3,300 schools from 21 education systems were surveyed and assessed. Key note speakers include Xavier Parats Monné, Directorate General of DG Education & Culture, European Commission and Dirk Hastedt, Executive Director of IEA as well as experts from some of the participating education systems.
