The traditional classroom is no longer an ideal place for education. Learning scenarios need to be more permeable to what happens outside the four walls, there are great opportunities for and availabilities of modern solutions. The gaps in the system, bottlenecks in achieving higher impact still prevail while the landscape of learning in the past few years has been changing substantially. How can the progressive and innovative academic and professional international community contribute to the better understanding of the expansion of the educational landscape? We need renowned reflections of practice that support paradigm-changing transformations based on systematic knowledge. These are the main challenges tackled by the theme of „Expanding Learning Scenarios“ at the 2015 EDEN Annual Conference (#EDEN15) to take place in Barcelona on 9-12 June 2015 in collaboration with Universitat Oberta de Catalunya – UOC.  If you look for networking and interactivity, sharing and discussion focusing on what you can learn from and with your peers, #EDEN15 is perfect for you. Submissions for paper presentations, posters, workshops and demonstrations are invited before 31 January 2015.  Synergy strand submissions are accepted before 31 March. If your initiative is not mature enough to be presented as a comprehensive research paper but has potential for development and could benefit from peer discussion and networking, we highly recommend you to submit in this category. Conference Publications include the electronic Conference Proceedings of double peer reviewed accepted conference submissions, the Book of Abstracts and the Book of Projects (Synergy Strand).
