The conference is on the topic of Female Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas. Following a presentation of the MWE Project E-learning Platform and project results, four keynote speakers will give presentations. These will include speakers from the Union des Agricultrices Wallones, the European Women’s Lobby, and DG Agriculture and Rural Development at the European Commission. CEJA Vice President Alice Cerutti will also speak about her experience as a female entrepreneur from a rural area. The MWE Project encourages an entrepreneurial spirit in young women in rural areas through new training courses, and an improved social network. It aims to promote entrepreneurship among young women living in rural areas and to facilitate the sharing of entrepreneurial ideas, knowledge and skills through networks of these women.The event will end with a press conference and will be followed by a cocktail reception and networking lunch.
