THE OVERALL GOALTo gather international students and provide them with a unique educational and cultural experience where they will learn and discuss various topics in event management, create new ideas and projects and participate in Rijeka carnival activities.SPECIFIC GOALS ARE TO:promote the carnival festivities of The City of Rijeka and the surrounding areapresent the carnival marketing strategies of the Rijeka Tourist Boardraise awareness of the importance of a cultural component in event planningprovide participants with skills and knowledge for event management, PR and marketingdevelop participants’ communication and presentation skills - teach students about the traditional and modern aspects of the Rijeka Carnivaldevelop new marketing strategies to promote the Rijeka Carnival - analyze the development of the Rijeka Carnival brand  STUDENTS WILL:experience an international event from an educational, professional and personal perspectivedevelop their presentation and communication skillsdevelop their personal skillslearn about the tradition of the City of Rijeka and the surrounding areaacquire new skills for successful event managementdevelop a series of new promotional events through hands-on educational activitieslearn new marketing strategies through various workshopsdevelop new ideas for promotion of the Rijeka Carnival - develop new ideas for events during the carnival season in Rijekaexperience carnival festivities and the Rijeka International Carnival ParadeFee: 390 EURFee includes: workshops, workshop materials, accommodation, 2 meals per day (breakfast + lunch or dinner), a mask for the carnival parade, a Certificate of AttendanceNumber of ECTS points: 4
