The longest day of the year - 21 June - has been a celebration of the sun for millennia.
From Stonehenge to the Arctic Circle, people have gathered on this day to celebrate sunshine and daylight. In the 21st century we now have a whole new way to make the most of energy from the sun - solar power.
Join us to be part of our vision for a solar powered Europe - our vision for a Europe where solar is the core source of energy - and to hear what leading European policy-makers and visionary companies plan to do to turn this vision into reality.
This high-level event will celebrate the contribution of solar to the European low-carbon economy and specifically look at how the digitalisation of the electricity ecosystem can bring the cost of going solar down further and make it "accessible to all Europeans".
This event takes place when 1000s of high level stakeholders are in Brussels for the European Commission's Sustainable Energy Week.
