The AsiaHub Summit is a unique event offering up-to-the minute information on chemicals regulations throughout Asia.
Day one of the Summit focuses on developments in China. This includes three speakers from the Chinese Government who will be available for questions throughout the day. These speakers represent the departments of Chinese Solid Waste and Chemical Management Center; the State Administration of Work Safety; and the National Health and Family Planning Commission. These Government speakers are joined by representatives of the China National Chemical Information Center together with a representative from Steptoe & Johnson in Beijing.
Day two focuses on latest developments in the rest of Asia. This includes Taiwan, where there are currently major changes to TSCSA in the pipeline; South Korea, where there are both recent proposed amendments to K-REACH together with draft new regulation for Biocidal products; Thailand, where the registration process has recently been updated; and Vietnam, where there have been recent updates on the status of the Vietnamese chemical inventory. In addition, there will be timely updates from Singapore, Japan and Malaysia.
