For the end of the project « IdEATE – Improved Employability and Apprenticeship in the Tourism Sector », a final conference will take place at the European Parliament, with the cooperation of MEP Istvan Ujhelyi, Vice-Chair of the EU Tourism Task Force. The conference addresses the main issues of the employability of jobseekers in the tourism sector and explains the current initiatives and policies for the skills development in tourism. The debate will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices, in view of important EU-level initiatives such as the New Skills Agenda for Europe, the Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills in tourism, the European Tourism Manifesto.
