A 11 hours course intended to keyboardists
Selected Scarlatti sonatas will be examined from a dancing perspective, involving both theory and practical lessons on eighteenth century Spanish dance and keyboard performance. Repertoire: Domenico Scarlatti sonatas with an emphasis on the Essercizi (K1- K30) and sonatas K54, K208, K209, K376, K380, K491 and K454.
Instruments: harpsichord, clavichord and piano
Teachers: Luisa Morales (keyboards) & Cristóbal Salvador (dance and castanets)
