We will discuss how to achieve high-quality assurance for non-financial information (NFI).

The European Commission is revising the Non Financial Reporting Directive to improve disclosures on NFI at the EU level. Independent, external assurance is a benchmark for trustworthy data. In this event, we will propose three conditions to develop and ensure high-quality NFI assurance, in hopes of achieving more reliability, better confidence in markets and progress on the global sustainable finance objectives. We will welcome Alain Deckers from DG FISMA in the European Commission to speak along side representatives from business and the accountancy profession.
