EU proposals to regulate online platforms - DSA & DMA

The online training will provide comprehensive overview of how platforms will be regulated in the EU under the future Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act. The training will be held via 3 hour sessions over 4 days.

On 15 December 2020, the European Commission published its long-awaited proposals on the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA).

According to the Commission's press release the DSA and the DMA will set a high global benchmark for regulating digital services with clear obligations tailored to the importance of the online platforms.

  • Obligations and prohibitions for gatekeeper platforms
  • Enforcement, governance and institutional framework
