Central banks are playing an essential role in building a more sustainable economy by helping financial institutions to measure and define environmental risk. What role should they themselves play as investors  in their quantitative easing asset purchases? How do they encourage the financial sector to support transition to greener investment?  How do they ensure the financial sector itself grows its resilience to climate change risk?  And what do they expect from COP26?
