Ex-ante and ex-post impact assessments are frequently used by the EU Commission in preparation of new legislation, revision of legislation or evaluation of a legislative framework. This session will provide practical and strategic understanding on when impact assessment are required on the basis of the EU Commission guidelines, the process of Impact assessments and who is involved in the process. Most importantly, our experts will provide insights into how you can contribute to this process as a stakeholder and they will share input on a methodology to develop socio-economic data for impact assessment processes.
