Our popular Horizon Europe online workshop series continues next year with the #4 event taking place on Wednesday 12 January. Like previous events, this next workshop is designed to bring together the industrial R&D interests and capabilities of SMEs and larger organisations with those of TWI’s Innovation Centres and TWI technical sections – all with the aim of forming new consortiums of like-minded partners, who can collaborate together on technology proposals to secure Horizon Europe project funding.
The agenda for the 12 January workshop will include:
The workshop will explore two topics which come under the Horizon Europe ‘Cluster 4: Digital, industry and space’ theme: ‘A digitised, resource-efficient and resilient industry’ and ‘Climate neutral, circular economy and digitised production’.
Technology development opportunities that could attract project funding in relation to these are likely to involve, but are not limited to, hydrogen in industrial applications, digital tools to support the engineering of circular economies, novel materials and coatings for energy and resource efficiency, circular and low emission value chains, and digitalised production.
A rich mix of representatives from across the supply chain – TWI, its Innovation Centres and Industrial Member companies, TWIIN Subscriber companies and industry-based attendees – will create a collaborative event, laying the foundation for new consortia, based on complementary expertise, that can produce powerful project concepts for Horizon Europe funding proposals.
Simply book your place in advance. This workshop is free to attend for the following: TWI Industrial Members and TWIIN Subscribers. There is a fee of £50 + VAT (£60) for Non-members and non-subscribers, and a fee of £25 + VAT (£30) for Welding Institute Members:
