The Course Concept at a Glance: The training program, which is in its second season, will enable participants to perform Safety Assessments (SAs) for cosmetic products, which are formulated, manufactured and marketed on a worldwide scale. The scientific and regulatory concept is based on the European Regulation N° 1223/2009 on cosmetic products and the related guidance publications, while also support for application under other regulatory frameworks is part of the curriculum. CCE's safety assessors and further international CCE experts will share their experiences from their hands-on daily practice of performing SAs and seeking regulatory compliance; lecturers from universities and industry will contribute fundamental science. The training will be performed in 6 Modules over one year, each module consists of four webinars and a full online day of exchange, discussion, exercises and support. Upon finishing the full course, a participant will be enabled to perform cosmetic product safety assessments. The Module on Toxicology I, Skin Sensitization, Irritation and Photoxicity, starts on 22 February 2022.
