TWI Innovation Partner Matching and Brokerage Workshop: join technology projects consortia for Horizon Europe, April 2022 funding calls

Our next Horizon Europe online workshop is on Thursday 24 February 2022 and will focus on new technology concepts that can form the basis for project proposals specifically to submit to the forthcoming April 2022 funding calls.

There will be a series of project concept pitches by TWI’s Innovation Centres who will explain in detail the new technology ideas they are currently working on, and the technical and industry-based capabilities they are seeking collaborative consortium partners with.

The agenda for the 24 February workshop will include:

• Keynote speakers Özak Durmuş, Product Sustainability Lead and Uğur Üresin, Smart Manufacturing & Digital Twin Applications Lead for Ford Otosan who will give a presentation on sustainable and smart manufacturing
• Keynote speaker Tom Larsen of Gestamp whose presentation will be Gestamp Chassis: Innovating for Mobility Challenges
• An in-depth look at funding opportunities arising from the Horizon Europe Energy, Digital Emerging, Data and Heritage, calls by Sally Shi, Programme Manager – Collaborative Proposals
• Project concept pitches for partner matching by TWI’s Innovation Centres
• Networking for attendees, presenters and TWI Technology Innovation Management team members to come together and discuss project opportunities

The follow funding call theme areas and opportunities will be discussed at the workshop:

• Digital, industry and space – data, computing, digital and emerging technologies as well as human-centred and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies
• Climate, energy and mobility – sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply as well as clean, competitive solutions for all transport modes
• Culture, creativity and inclusive society – research and innovation for cultural heritage and building a sustainable future for the EU

A rich mix of representatives from across the supply chain will create a collaborative event, leading to the creation of new consortia, based on complementary expertise, that can produce powerful project concepts for Horizon Europe funding proposals.
