25th Edition of Spotlight 
ESBG is proud to announce the next edition of SPOTLIGHT. It will take place on Wednesday, 16 March (at CET), via our software “Livestorm”. The guest speaker will be BaFin’s Mr Frank Pierschel. The topic is inspired by the constant developments in the sustainable finance area: ESG regulation for banking. ESG stands for Environmental, Social Governance - a three-dimensional aspect of sustainability. As things evolve, we expect that ESG risk management will come even more in the centre of attention of banking institutions, supervisory authorities, investors, and many others in the months and years to come. Given his impressive double role at BaFin as both Head of International Policy as well as Chief Sustainable Finance Officer, we are very delighted that Mr Frank Pierschel accepted our invitation and will elaborate on prudential ESG rules and requirements for the banking sector. ESBG Spotlight will be hosted by Sebastian Stodulka, Head of Department Regulatory Affairs.
