This year, the Heritage Days in the Brussels-Capital Region will take place on 17 and 18 September and the theme will be "Traces of colonisation". On this occasion, the House of European History invites you to take part in guided tours and discover fragments of history about Europe's colonial past.

Visitors will explore the museum's permanent exhibition through objects related to European countries' oppressive rule over their colonies, as well as works of art, which express the rupture of identity resulting from the traumatic experience of colonialism.
