On Thursday 29 September (afternoon), as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the Architects’ Council of Europe is organising a « Walk & Talk » event, which will consist of:
- a GUIDED TOUR around the site of Tour & Taxis (Brussels),
- a POLICY DEBATE, which will bring together representatives from various EU Commission’s Directorate-Generals, for a conversation on the legislative and policy levers for greater quality in the built environment. It will notably be an opportunity to discuss the ongoing recast of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) – certainly the most critical EU piece of legislation that will set the pace of decarbonisation of the EU building stock for the next ;
