Once again, the International Union of Property Owners (UIPI), in collaboration with the Confederación de Cámaras de la Propiedad y Asociaciones de Propietarios de Fincas Urbanas (CCPU), is committed to helping local property owners (as well as others interested in participate) to understand how climate goals and related EU/national/regional policies affect ;It is crucial to raise awareness about the urgency of the objectives, the state of the issue, the new challenges that lie ahead, the practical implications and all the existing tools and support systems that are available on the market to start carrying out the necessary updating of the sustainability of the built environment.
Furthermore, by enhancing public debate around these issues involving not only owners, but also relevant policymakers, representatives of key stakeholders and civil society, light can be shed on what needs to be done to improve and refine existing ;Without the commitment of all parties, meeting the climate objectives in the European Green Deal will be a greater challenge, and giving them the floor is a step in the right direction to achieve it.
This 5th edition of the UIPI Renovation Tour will offer a program similar to that of the previous editions, with a first explanatory political session followed by a public debate, and then a series of practical sessions around the financial, technical and assistance tools that are being developed locally and through EU-funded research and innovation, aimed at supporting homeowners in their necessary deep ;The event will be free with prior registration and will be open to all.
