This event, taking place 6 March 2024, will address the challenges faced in Finland to meet recycling targets for municipal solid waste (MSW) and plastic packaging. It will focus on the solution of sorting the residual MSW, ultimately contributing to an increased MSW recycling rate.  The webinar will be composed of presentations by experts from projects and other related institutions, which will discuss plastic volumes in Finland, results from the MSWPlast project, the terms of exporting and importing mixed municipal waste and plastic waste, and perspectives of MSW sorting facilities in Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden.  The event’s agenda is available here.  About PlastLIFE:  PlastLIFE is an extensive national cooperation project in Finland aimed at promoting the circular economy of plastics with the objective to establish a sustainable circular economy for plastics in Finland by 2035.
