This event will see the presence of both high-level decision-makers and representatives of key stakeholders to reflect on the future social agenda of the European Union. Taking stock of the progress towards the achievement of the objectives of the European Pillar of Social Rights, this discussion will pave the way to identify the remaining challenges in the sector. The European Pillar of Social Rights, in its first principle, holds that “everyone has the right to quality and inclusive education, training and life-long learning in order to maintain and acquire skills that enable them to participate fully in society and manage successfully transitions in the labour market.” This is a vital tool for a socially just Europe.
