CER/HSS hybrid discussion on 'Why do the European Parliament elections matter?'

with Eli Gateva, Catherine Fieschi, Tom Nuttall, Nathalie Tocci and Klaus Welle.

This June, citizens from across the European Union will head to the polls. This event will discuss the upcoming European elections and their implications. What key issues are voters most concerned about? How will the results of the European parliament elections impact the work of the next European Commission? How well will the far right perform? Will the elections have implications for relations between the UK and the EU?

Mr Welle will begin the event by making some opening remarks, after which our other speakers will respond. Anja Richter, the Hanns Seidel Foundation's Country Director UK, will then moderate a Q&A discussion with the audience.

This is a hybrid event. Please contact the Centre for European Reform using the 'Contact' button above for further information, including how to register.
