Anke holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University in the Netherlands. She started out working as logistics engineer. And soon realised that the challenges she loves to work on relate to people: how to appreciate, leverage and grow talent, how to empower, how to create a safe, yet challenging working environment? After having held positions in Strategic HR  and HR Commercial, she started working in Learning & Development in 2010. As the Head of L&D for KLM’s Commercial Division she led the change from a needs driven department to a business impact drive. Anke sets and steers the L&D agenda to deliver on strategic priorities in Sales, Customer Experience and Commercial Leadership Development. With a team of 16 professionals and many external partners her team tries to make a real difference to Air France KLM every day.
