Full Professor of Applied Linguistics at University Grenoble Alpes (France). He belongs to the research unit Lidilem (Linguistique et Didactique des Langues Etrangères et Maternelles). He has been researching in CALL for 30 years, with a stress on task design and online exchanges. He is the author of three books, the most recent one being Formation en ligne et MOOC: apprendre et se former en langue avec le numérique, Hachette, 2017.
