Mr. Huitema is a Dutch politician and Member of the European Parliament from the Netherlands for Renew Europe since 2014. During his first term, he was a member of the AGRI Committee and rapporteur on fertilisers and water reuse. In 2019 he joined the ENVI Committee and has been appointed as rapporteur of the Circular Economy Action Plan.
