Steve is a professor Entrepreneurship at the American University of Bulgaria, and has additionally taught business and marketing at the Sofia University. Steve is a mentor at various accelerators in Bulgaria, helping numerous companies over the years with advice and guidance. Steve is an active public speaker in the region, with one of his speeches being featured on TED.com. He’s spoken at numerous events, from the Economics Ministry in Latvia through to the corporate events for Naspers and other firms.

Steve is a co-founder of MammothDB, a big data analytics database company. He was CEO of Sciant – Bulgaria’s largest software application development company which was sold to VMware (VMW).
