This event covers the production and use of energy crops for heat, electricity and biogas in Europe. The two days conference organized by ENCROP Project partners will focus on policy issues/support schemes with a stronger emphasis on different possibilities to use these crops for bioenergy, on agronomic aspects as well as on practical issues such as contracting and logistics. A study tour to the Kozienice power plant (co-firing of coal and energy crops) and an energy crop trial site will take place on the second day.
