For the last two years (2007-2009), BITES (Biofuels Technologies European Showcase) project has selected, discussed and disseminated the most successful European biofuel initiatives.BITES project Final Conference will summarize the results of the project, the dissemination events organized and the working groups activities, and will present a final set of recommendations containing an action plan to allow significant advances in the adoption of biofuels chains in Europe. In addition, with a look to the future, the conference will include a presentation on recently published opportunities of funding from European Commission programmes. The conference will be held on the occasion of the 2009 edition of AGRILEVANTE - International Exhibition of Machinery Plant and Technologies, taking place in Fiera del Levante, Bari (Italy), from the 08th to 11th October 2009. AGRILEVANTE's current edition will be specially focused on renewable energy sources connected to agriculture, with reference especially to biomass, biogas and wind and photovoltaic energy generation. www.agrilevante.euBoth BITES Final Conference and AGRILEVANTE fair are free of charge events.
