The organising committee is working hard to compose an intensive and rich in content conference consisting of high-quality lectures and interactive workshops led by experts in History Education, and study visits to beautiful heritage in and around Nijmegen. Participants will have the unique possibility to meet colleagues in history education from all over Europe, and beyond.During the last four years the Netherlands developed an official Canon of 50 Windows to Dutch History and Culture. In 2010 the the Association of Teachers in History and Political Science in the Netherlands, VGN, wants to explore with colleagues from all over Europe if this approach can be used as a model for a European Canon(source: ac2010.euroclio.eu)
