With governments and health organisations constantly warning of dangers of smoking, there’s never been more pressure on smokers to quit. Figures suggest that around 50% of quit attempts involve the use of smoking cessation aids, usually in the form of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), purchased over the counter. Most unaided attempts are often not very successful.
