In the field of public procurement are the most common and frequent irregularities in applying European funding legislation. When such irregularities are identified, corrections have to be made which mostly result in the cancellation and withdrawal of non-admissible parts of funding. When applying for tenders from EU funded projects, private bidders need to be aware of the implications surrounding the field of public procurement and EU structural funding and show evidence of a fair and transparent process.The seminar will deal with the requirements set out by EU structural funds regulations and European law in regards to public procurement. On day 1 of the seminar the main focus will be on procurement regulations and their implementation in practice.
