The Global Governance Institute (GGI) and Transparency International (TI), in cooperation with the Institute for European Studies (IES,) are pleased to invite you to a half-day workshop on "Strengthening Civil Society and Legislative Oversight of Defence" on 18th September 2013. The workshop will bring together members of Parliament, NGO representatives, the media, academia and wider civil society networks in order to devise forward-looking approaches to strengthen transparency, legislative oversight and stronger governance mechanisms for tackling corruption in the defence sector.
