CHAARM project symposium at EACS 2013

CHAARM Symposium session on

CHAARM project has been allocated at the EACS Symposium session between 11.30 and 13.00 on Wednesday 16th of October on “New HIV preventive Strategies: the future of microbicides” in Brussels, Belgium. The session is organised by EATG, within the framework of the EU funded CHAARM project - Combined Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Microbicides, and will be chaired by Gus Cairns (NAM/EATG).The symposium will present and discuss 3.5 years of research activity and discovery in the CHAARM research consortium, and will lay out what to expect from the remaining 18 months of CHAARM, during which many research lines will come to fruition. It will discuss how the research community might build on CHAARM’s discoveries in the future, and the best model of future funding of HIV biomedical prevention research. Full programme will be available on Chaarm website CHAARM PROJECT:Combined Highly Active Anti-Retroviral Microbicides, is a project that aims at supporting and promoting research on combinations of new and existing microbicides. It is a large scale collaborative project co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7), which brings together some of the top researchers and scientists from 32 organisations around the world.More info on Chaarm website
