On 27 February 2014 the project lead partner Port of Hamburg Marketing will be hosting the Amber Coast Logistics Final Conference at the German UNILEVER headquarters, beautifully located in Hamburg`s new HafenCity, Strandkai 1, 20457 Hamburg.The variety of results that have been produced will be presented and exchanged in order to support the development of multi-modal logistics centers in the southern and eastern Baltic Sea region.Improving the accessibility of remote areas and fostering the development of logistics potentials in the Amber Coast region formed the main targets. Intensive research has been carried out to shed a light on challenges of East-West transport chains, define administrative barriers, and finally delineate scenarios to overcome the current status, leading to an integrated transport corridor in the Baltic Sea region. The conference will be divided into three sessions. First of all, the focus is on the status quo of the transport market in the south-eastern Baltic Sea region.
