Bringing heart failure into mainstream health policy

Join Parliamentarians (national and European), patient groups, NGOs and representatives from the Commission to discuss the policy challenges and opportunities for heart failure patients across Europe.

Heart Failure Policy Network is a unique initiative is aiming to place heart failure higher on the EU and national policy agendas.  It has been set up to raise awareness about heart failure and to urge governments to address a condition affecting 15 million people in Europe, currently living with heart failure. Heart failure is the leading cause of hospitalisation amongst the over 65s and whilst an impressive 86% people have heard of heart failure, only 3% can correctly identify its symptoms.The event - ‘Bringing Heart Failure into mainstream health policy’ - will be hosted by Cristian-Silviu Bu
