This seminar will examine current developments in European public procurement, with an emphasis on specific legal issues.The first part will concentrate on the implementation of the procurement and concessions directive in the Member States. It will in particular investigate how Member States have transposed those issues for which they have flexibility when implementing the Public Contracts Directive (2014/24/EU) and Utilities Directive (2014/25/EU) and the Directive on the award of concession contracts (2014/23/EU). A specific session will be devoted to legal aspects in innovation procurement.The second part of the seminar will concentrate on the recent case law in the field of European public procurement. Special attention will be given to the jurisprudence of the General Court and the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU). Furthermore, it will cover the relevant case law concerning remedies.
