The Copenhagen Summit invites academics and university teachers with an interest in learning-centered higher education to document their innovative teaching and learning practices for THE HANDBOOK OF NEW INNOVATIONS IN TEACHING AND LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION.
About the handbook
The HANDBOOK will be published worldwide by Libri Publishing Ltd., Oxfordshire, UK. All accepted authors will meet in wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark for the 17th International Symposium organised by the Institute for Learning in Higher Education. LiHE symposiums are inspiring and productive, where all authors collaborate to review, edit and refine their input, and join forces to finalise the handbook-manuscript for publication.
Higher education prepares students for a professional life through teaching and learning. Professions are changing, and so is higher education. We call upon professional academics in higher education to join forces and contribute with their innovative teaching and learning practices for this inspiring international handbook of the highest quality. The handbook will inspire readers to engage their students in new ways of teaching and learning. The handbook will document all inspiring types of innovative teaching and learning practices in Higher Education.
Your submission
Submit a 3-5 paged documentation of your NEW INNOVATION IN TEACHING AND LEARNING. It is important that your documentation is clear and descriptive. Think of it as a short description with teachers’ notes, so that readers of the HANDBOOK will be able to learn from your example and try your teaching and learning innovation themselves. About the symposium
Location
The LiHE 2017 Copenhagen Summit takes place in wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark. During the symposium you will visit the Steelcase Active Learning Centre at Hans Christian Andersen’s Boulevard run by the Institute for Learning in Higher Education together with Steelcase University. The symposium itself takes place in the city centre next door to the Royal Palace of the Queen of Denmark.
